Earth Hour 2009
8.30pm 28 Mar 09, Earth Hour.. I was at wisma after jap class.. The building and some shops dimmed their lightings, but just slightly so can't really tell the difference.. But wondered, if things can operate with a little less lighting, y not just keep that going. One hr is not gg to save the earth.. -___-|||
Wisma had this stargazing event at the rooftop of the building today. Lucky to see the man-with-the-poster walking around, and thanks to the clear sky, else we would have missed this chance to see stars closeup. They had quite a number of telescopes set up, and the owner of the scope stood there to explain to the visitors which stars the telescopes were actually looking at. They even had amazing laser pointers to illustrate the constellations in the sky so that we won't be looking at the wrong stars. In the Singapore night sky, we are only able to see Big Dipper, Orion, Sirius, Saturn and Gemini. The most interesting one was Saturn and its moons. I couldn't really see the moons ard (too small) but was able to view the prominent rings, a distinctive characteristic of the planet, which can't be seen with the naked eye. =)
Had the first lesson of Intermediate 2 today.. and our class had two new students.. It's a couple in their late 30s or early 40s.. Just thought that it's quite 温馨 to pick up an interest/hobby at this age tog with your spouse..
Life's looking good
Today marks the first day that I'm able to see.. without specs!

Yday was the op.. and it was more scary than I thought.. The scariness didn't set in till I was lying under the laser as reality sets in.. So glad when the whole process was completed..
I wouldn't know if I have the guts to go thru it a second time. Hope there'll be no need for a second time..
My vision is still hazy, but no more tearing uncontrollably.. So my eye lids' not as swollen and I can open my eyes for quite long periods of time already..
Went back for checkup today and the doctor said I scored a
20/20 vision. I didn't know wats dat till I googled abt it.. So it is good.. haha..
Hope the haze clear up soon..
Dreams
Had a real bad one last nite.. Can still feel my heart thumping away when I awoke.. my alarm clock saved me from the こわい dream.. N i dun feel rested..
Only those dreams so close to real life thoughts can be that scary.. I muz have thought too much abt it the nite before..
Now that i'm abt to slp again.. i'm reminded of the bad dream.. *shudders*
3rd bottle of collectible
Yay the 3rd collectible bottle came in today.. waiting for the 4th one now... My collection sure is increasing fast =)

Busy Day
Woke up at 5.20am on 28 Feb to catch my plane back at 8.20am (so that I wun miss class).. Had lunch and did a quick unpacking after I reached home at abt 2pm. Managed to get a 1 hr nap before pulling myself out of bed to go to Jap class in the heavy downpour (since I rushed so much not to miss class). Was rather disappointed that I didn't score well for the Jap test (need to study more).. Rushed to gathering after Jap class despite getting stuck in the orchard road jam and parking queue. But I guess probably I just shouldn't have gone yday since my lateness caused many ppl's inconvenience n unhappiness. *Sigh* Why must everyone be free on the day that I'm not.
Very tired.. Slpt alot today.. Probably gg to slp alot tml as well.. Hope it rains again..
