旅前。。想法。。
Departing Singapore @ 2230 23rd Mar 07. Will be back in the morning of 28rd Mar 07.
As usual, lazy me procrastinated till one nite before the trip then start packing my bag. Surprisingly packing is quite tedious ah, it made me sweat after packing my bag for like 2 hours. Well, its now done, except for some last minute items to be added in tml evening after I come back from work. Sitting there beside my desk is my big n fat 40 litre backpack. Dunno y it feels so heavy when it weighs only 6.4kg on the weighing scale. Haha.. I tink the weighing scale's cheating me.. Ho ho..
Wonder if ppl will miss my presence when I'm not around.. Maybe I'll miss them instead.. =P But it does feel good to leave this place for a while. Just like how good it felt to leave in May last year.
Ahh.. Hope I'll come back safe and sound. And hope I'll be able to fall asleep on the bus journeys.. Else I'll going to become a big panda. wahaha..

For this past week.. I appreciated something that I hafen been appreciating for quite a long while... its called 'time'...
Started on a new personal project and determined to stick to it. Coz it has to be done and I will do it! Not gonna procrastinate anymore. Hopefully I can get it done by June. =)

Just came back from paintball today, at Singapore Discovery Centre, Crossfire. It is department welfare event, and most imptly, fully paid for.
*grin* =)Had been wanting to try it since I saw the tv advertising, through those game shows. For those who dunno wat is paintball, it is basically those mini war games where two groups of ppl put on safety armour and use rifle to shoot each other. But of coz it's not with real bullets! Its rubber pellets with paint inside!! Luminous yellow, orange, green.. yucks.
For information, there are only two places offering this game in singapore. One is Discovery Centre, the other is at Orchid Country Club. Prices are not cheap I guess. They count by bullets.
For today's game, we had 12 groups to start with. First two rounds were elimination and we juz tried to shoot as many opponents down as possible. The group with the last man standing wins. Once you get a shot on you, you're out of the game. For the second rounds, the aim is to obtain 2 out of 3 flags for your team. The flags were hidden inside the mini maze. If you get shot, you'll have to run back to your home base before coming out again. Hence waste time. So you'll need to make sure you get the flags without getting shot and able to bring the flag safely back to your home base. Getting confused with wat I'm trying to say? Hope this helps....
Map: [Grp A Base] (center area is the maze) [Grp B Base]Basically the bases are a mini castle structure, and the center mini maze is realli mini la. The walls are only about 1m tall, with some vegetation planted on top, so it doesn't provide much cover. And standing up n squating down makes me so tired. My legs go wobbly after running around abit. Coz the face mask is suffocating, and prevents fresh air from going into the system. But well, its either ur face get shot or you wear it. So its clear wats the choice should be. =P Anyway there's no choice la.. coz its compulsory to wear.. heh..
Oh yah forgot to mention. If you get shot withing close distance (less than 3m), you'll get a nasty blue black! =S Awww.. I've got one today. But still luckier than other ppl. Some gets open wounds. Clothing dun help much. But they recommend guys to wear No. 4. But then ah, sure sweat till mad. Its a rule that you cant shoot at close distance la. But well, rules n real life are different ain't they? Just hope you dun meet those nasty ppl whu plays cheat and keep shooting at you within close close range. It hurts!~
The third rounds were won by bursting your enemy's balloon first. There's only one balloon at each base. So you'll have to risk your life to protect it and also get the enemy's one burst asap. The winning round is similar, having to burst the balloon as well as obtain one flag. The game is sure fun. I get a kick shooting bullets at ppl.
*so bad of me.. but its fun mah.. I'm sure you like that too.. dun bluff* However there's alot of waiting time in between la.. So I get kinda slpy waiting around in the hot afternoon. But luckily a nice drizzle came along and cool our day.
Ahh toked so much.. I tink I rarely wrote such a long entry. BUT before I end, let me hao lian first! My group got 1st prize~~~ Haha.. 30 bucks kino voucher.. Yeah~ can go n buy a nice book. But then I din help much la. After panting badly during the first two rounds due to suffocation, I decided to stay behind to guard the base and fend off attackers, instead of being the front line chionging guy. But I'm proud to say that we have good defence! Haha.. So I just have to hope dat our chionging guys are lucky enuff to siam all the flying bullets n get to the balloons n flags. I just help to shoot bullets to divert attention. =P
