Sunday's last min programme
You wld never guess where I went today. Its the Singapore Museum! Oops.. Guess one wld only think of going there for school excursions. But today I went on my own free will, paid the entrance fee and stepped in for a look.
Well, it was a last min programme, suggested by a fren who went there twice recently. Since he was willing to go for a third time, I tot it shldn't be too boring, so I agreed with the idea of a museum tour to spend the boring Sunday afternoon.
The technology surprises me. Instead of the normal write-ups stuck on the walls beside the ornaments on display, there were only number tags. They gave us a 'companion' when we entered the gallery. And we can listen to wat we're interested in thru our companion which comes with headphone. For videos showing in the gallery, the companion is even tuned in sync with the images on the screen. Looks like the museum idea has evolved quite abit since I last went. Wonder if other museums are like that too. Oh and the items on display are quite interesting too.
Took us abt 3 hours to finish the tour, but there are still many stories that I hafen managed to listen to. Maybe will go again sometime in the future to finish my unread stories? Haha.
