A walk at the Southern Ridges
Woke up early at 8.20am and headed to Seah Im Food Centre to meet Goofy, tf, ks, hk n wife. Had breakfast and we headed to the starting point at about 10am. Took a photo to mark the starting point.
We were greeted by a long long flight of stairs which took us to the restaurant area on top of mount Faber. No more tough climbs subsequently. First highlight was the Henderson waves. I vote it the nicest bridge! Very high up, great scenery and beautifully designed. But I just cant help but think abt whether the thin strips of wooden planks are sturdy enuff to withstand wear n tear. Lots of ppl were also enjoying themselves on this bridge. Cheerios.

After dat was the Alexandra arch. A long and windy metal structure. But there's an artistic feel to it as well. The only minus point is that there wasn't much scenery to be viewed as it is abit too near the ground.

Crossing Alexandra road, we reach Hort Park. Yikes, din know got such a nice place. Beautifully landscaped and decorated. Highly recommended for evening walks. =)
Walked into Kent Ridge Park and it's familiar ground again. The place I sometimes run after work. N we ended our walk at Science Park, took a bus to Holland Village and had a hearty lunch!
Lucky it didn't rain during the walk. Dark clouds were visible since morning, but the drizzle only came when we were having our lunch~ *hengz*
