Day 4 - 13 Apr 08

Crawled out of bed at 5am today. Got to catch goofy at the Alishan Train station at Chiayi to go up Alishan together on the 9am train.
We took a very early train on the slow rail @ 6.20am to go Chiayi. But it was an express train and we reached at 7.35am! We proceed to purchase the tickets for Alishan railway, and wait for goofy n gang to arrive (wondering if they will be able to reach on time).

While waiting for goofy n gang at the station, we were troubled by this pesky lady who kept wanting us to take up the hotel offer from her for the stay at Alishan. And also trying to sell us her train tickets while we're queuing up to get ours. She's selling it cheaper, but guess we were rather scared after the encounter wif the bad deal at Kenting, so we rejected regardless of the price (in case gets cheated). And also the locals refused to buy from her too.

After settling the sunrise package for the nxt morning with 许小姐, we headed to our hotel (Yingshan Hotel). So funny, she charges us NT$300 per person for the sunrise package, and refused to reduce any amt no matter wat. So we agreed thinking that bo bian coz need to watch the sunrise. Then she asked for my name then i tell her my surname. Coz same as hers so she give us discount of NT$50 per person! Woot~ Of coz we din know her surname before that la. *Happy*
After unpacking, we went for lunch then head to the forest recreation area for an up & down the hill hike along the paths. Think it took us a few hours.

After that was dinner and going back to the hotel for resting, to be awoken at 3am the next morning for the sunrise.
