Hong Kong Day 1 & 2

Starts with a plane ride on JetStar, delayed for quite some time due to waiting for air space for take off...

With the new mascot of the trip... *Melody*

Reached our hostel pretty late at around 10pm.. Hence only did a stroll around the vicinity, walking Ladies Street and eating Wanton Mee & Xu Liu San for supper...




2nd day woke up to find that its raining! But lucky the planned itinery is dim sum and shopping.. So it wasn't too bad..

Lunch was arranged by a friend Chorng Shin who is currently studying in HK. Nice yummy Liu Sha Bao from the restaurant in Langham Hotel.


With a nice toilet to visit.. =)

After lunch he brought us around the area to show us where to shop and get the yummy Wife's Biscuits.. :P

First day Melody had more exposure on camera..

Yummy roasted goose dinner at another restaurant in Mongkok area.. *Poor goofy.. served on a plate*

The day ended with a visit to the Avenue of Stars.. But it was raining and the wind was so strong.. *LH experienced nearly being blown away* :O

Umbrellas were of no use as they will be blown to flip the other way round instead.. haha.. But it was quite fun.. walking ard in the rain with the waterproof windbreaker.. Finding pillars to hide behind so that we wun get blown away =P Guess EeLing and Ellen din enjoy themselves coz they got wet with the useless umbrellas..

Had fun playing with the shiny round pillar before heading back~ *LH's stupid idea to make everyone make a face* wahaha
